Lyric Opera - The world-renowned Lyric Opera of Chicago performs in the spectacular Art Deco auditorium of the Civic Opera House. Built in 1929 and recently restored to its original splendor, the Civic Opera House also hosts a variety of nationally touring operettas and vocal concerts.
